Journal Brief - Instructions to author(s) TOC 1996-2000 TOC 2001-2007 JTM – IN BRIEF
Journal of Transition Management (est 1996) intend to be truly international forum bringing up researchers, academics and governmental or public sector circles together as well as practitioners who are involved or interested in overall transformation track of the contemporary world, but from the effective management standpoint. In fact, JTM is oriented to observe not only on-going transformation and transition issues facing the former socialist countries (CITs) but rather to mark challenges of unprecedented shiftings in geopolitics, international marketing and business, industry/services and technology in the broader i.e "The 6 W" context - what, why, who, which, when, where". Journal's mission is to capture relevant isseus of the substantial impact to decision-makers on the both business and national level, just to take an advantage of "learning effect" arised in the process of tranzition from different experience or in different circumstances. Profiled as "international forum" of the people with internationalized mindset, JTM ought to be such kind of medium for dissemination of advanced ideas and approaches from the one side, and vehicle for broadening horizons and realizing emegining paradigms of the time to come, from the other side. So, JTM editorial policy is open for contributions that covers broader framework mentioned above focused on: Geopolitics (economic relationships on intraregional, interregional and national level, and process of transition, restructuring, transformation etc); International Marketing and Business (impact of institutional changes on international or national level, in order to facilitate international trade of goods and services, marketing and business practice and modes of international involvement, factors and agents of internationalization and globalization etc.); Industry/Services and Technology (major trends in transformation and/or interaction with/within different industry/service sectors, current and prospective trends in technology dissemination, technology impact on business, marketing and management practice). Journal of Transition Management (JTM®) is special edition of the journal MARKETING® - Official journal of the Yugoslav Marketing Association (established in 1969). JTM is edited by Editorial Board of the journal "Marketing". JTM® is published three time per year in English. All manuscriptrs will pass a two-blind revision process.

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHOR(s) - GENERAL OUTLINE
Authors submitting to the QMJ Marketing are requested to include three copies of the full paper in Serbian or English together with a 3.5¨ disk. Paper should be A4 sized (or up to author) and prepared by text processor, with a specification of the program used (preferably Microsoft WORD or Word Perfect, font size 12). Pictures, if imported, should be placed separately on the disk in WMF, TIFF, PCX, JPG, GIF format in resolution of 300 dpi, or in CDR format.
Manuscripts are blind reviewed with the understanding that they are substantially new and have not been previously published in whole (excluding conference preceding). Publisher has the copyright to all published articles.
Submission should include (1) separate title, listing of author(s), affiliation(s), address, e-mail address (if possible), telephone and fax number; (2) abstract of up to 500 words; (3) text portion headed by subtitle(s). The manuscript should be 1.5 spaced, with margins of 1 inch each side of the page. The length of the manuscript should not exceed 20 pages (including notes, references, appendices, tables, figures, charts, etc.). Notes (footnotes) should be placed at the end of the manuscript and should precede the references. It is better to minimize them and integrate them in the text itself. List of references (in alphabetical order by author' last names) should follow the notes at the end of the manuscript.
Practical guidelines 1. Print your manuscript in Serbian or English (up to authors) on 8-1/2" x 11" or A4 format paper, single spaced 2. Type Times New Roman 12 3. Maximum length is 20 pages, use only one side of the paper, one inch margins on all four sides of the paper 4. Print on a laser jet or letter quality printer, not on a dot matrix printer 5. Make sure that the printed copy you send is dark so that it can be easily read. 6. When referencing an item use the following style: (Keegan 1996, 250), direct quotations should be put under exlamation points "...". The last figure refers to the page of the cited volume 7. Avoid footnotes. If they cannot be avoided list them at the end of the manuscript, before the bibliography 8. List the bibliography in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript 9. Use blank lines to structure the text into different paragraphs. 10. The first page should contain the following information centered on the page from both the top & bottom and right & left margins: The paper's title. The author's name. First and last name, without titles. The author's affiliation, name of institution, city, state, and country. Also put an abstract on the first page. 11. Tables and figures should be numbered (1,2,3 etc.), single spaced and placed in the text. A one inch margin on all four sides must remain free. All tables and figures (drawings) must be clear and dark 12. Structure of the manuscript (only two levels). title: centered, bold; all headings flush with the left margin and standard type 13. Point 10 is to be considered also for the preparation of abstracts (maximum 500 words). 14.
